马可所著的耶稣传记——迦南妇人的信心 耶稣从那里起身，往推罗西顿的境内去。进了一家，不愿意人知道，却隐藏不住。 (7:24) 当下有一个妇人，她的小女儿被污鬼附着，听见耶稣的事，就来俯伏在他脚前。 (7:25) 这妇人是希利尼人，属叙利非尼基族。她求耶稣赶出那鬼，离开她的女儿。 (7:26) 耶稣对她说，让儿女们先吃饱。不好拿儿女的饼丢给狗吃。 (7:27) 妇人回答说，主阿，不错。但是狗在桌子底下，也吃孩子们的碎渣儿。 (7:28) 耶稣对她说，因这句话，你回去吧。鬼已经离开你的女儿了。 (7:29) 她就回家去，见小孩子躺在床上，鬼已经出去了。 (7:30) 马可 7:24-30

The Faith of a Syrophoenician Woman
From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn't want anyone to know it, but he couldn't escape notice. For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet. Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter. But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." But she answered him, "Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs." He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter." She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out. Mark 7:24-30
