Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Oh yes, Jesus strongly believe that these groups of p`ple are valuable because he searches the hearts not on the outside and this implies that he doesn`t see as we see. This is why the bible in Mat 19:13-14 Jesus is telling the desciples not to hinder the children from going to him and he continues to say for the kingdom of heaven is their`s.My understanding of this is being humble before God and loving people the way they are.

Hi dear friends,
When I study today`s lesson, I get to understand that Jesus didn`t consider the class of people , because when you study the scripture in Luke 15:1-2 , we see Jesus getting down to eat with the sinners. In hummanity any one would see it as asin but to people who have the holysprit of God this one just reminds us what the bible says when jesus leaves the 99 and gets out to look for the lost sheep.Inconclussion therefore we need to be humble like jesus and love p`ple the way they are.Remember God hates the proud but gives grace to the humble.Bye.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
I will say YES to this statement because when Jesus was with the disciples and the children were been rebuked by the disciples but he told then that they should allow them to him since such are those that belongs to the kingdom of heaven. Been lowly in a society takes up some privileges that u wish to enjoy so u worship and serve with all your heart with an pure heart. like that of the poor widow.

Befriending and promoting the low
As our lord God sent his begotten son to save the world from their sins was give a lowly status of birth, that is been born in a sheep pen shows how it takes for someone who wants to be a good Christian or the servant of The Lord almighty to know that their job is to serve to make the word of God reach every part of the world.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
A Man, who knows God, is made of Pains. In poverty, there are a lot of pains. I think they are closer to God and our Lord Jesus is directly pointing to it.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Jesus believes lowly people are valuabe. Because the kingdom of heaven belongs to lowly people. According to what Jesus said, whoever receives lowly people in His name, is receiving Him. In addition, lowly people are more humble facing Lord, more love Lord, and donate all of them because what they own are less. It is that because what lowly people often are looked up down by others, they can feel the love from Lord when Jesus had dealing with them.

The idea of if one wants to be the first, he should be the last is a paradox.when one is a leader he is advised to lead from the front by example, now here we are told he should be last! At what point do we be submissive as servants and when do we come o

Yes.Jesus valued the lowly and the poor and gave them attention. He calls out today to those who are downtrodden and heavily laden. He wants to ease their burden. It does not matter your station in life just come to Him and you will find rest.

Now all the tax-gatherers and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him. And both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them." ( Luke 15:1-2)

Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ( Matthew 19:13-14)

He called the twelve and said to them, "If any one wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." And taking a child , He stood him in the midst of them; and taking him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one child like this in My name is receiving Me; and whoever receives Me is not receiving Me, but Him who sent Me." ( Mark 9:35-37)

And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the multitude were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. And calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, "Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on." ( Mark 12:41-44)

There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink." For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. The Samaritan woman therefore said to Him, ‘How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) ( John 4:7-9)

And it came about when He went into the house of one of the leaders of the Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread, that they were watching Him closely…And he went on to say to the one who had invited Him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return, and repayment come to you. But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." ( Luke :-1-:1)
