Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
I forgot to answer this question. Yes of course He does. How valuable? um...I think all of children of God has same value to God but He has more compassion for them. In my experience, Ive met some disabled people, I think they are more humble and satisfied with their circumstances. God delights with the spirits of them. And I also feel more comfortable with them compare with others I don`t know why. I felt much impression when the disabled people shouted to others... Jesus is alive!

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
The thing I love so much about Jesus is that he doesn`t see anyone as lowly. Jesus sees no need to label anyone and I pray all the time for God`s help in changing me into the kind of person that can look at another and not feel the need to make some kind of judgement. Whatever your path through the world we all have an equal chance of spending eternity with God. Jesus put immeasurable value on everyone. We should all pray for the grace to do the same.

In Mark 12:41-44, people were putting money into the treasury. Is this for taxes, or for the poor? I am not clear on this.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Jesus believes that ALL people are valuable, because they are all God`s children. People that believe in Him are valuable because they have faith, and believe in God`s word and the teachings of Jesus. Lowly people are more like Jesus because of their humility, as illustrated by the poor woman who gave all her money, not just what she could afford. This does not make her lowly, but worthy, in Jesus` eyes. The woman had faith that God would provide for her, and He always provides for all of us.

Yes, jesus truly believes lowly people are valuable, perhaps even more so than those people who are full of self importance, who look down at other people for whatever reason. There is an innocence in people who are lowly, a more realistic essence to them, jesus saw this in them, and perhaps some of the messages in the bible we can identify with, in adopting simplistic qualities that lowly people possess. Jesus loves everybody yet in his dealings with sick, children and `lowly` people is teaching us what qualities are important in christians and what valuable lessons we can learn from so called lowly people

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Yes, to Jesus Christ the lowly people are the most valuable of all. He preffered them to the rest who were mighty and rich. He also teaches us to respect and be kind to these people so that we can get reward from Him. He spent his time with the sinners, poor, sick and others who were considered the tabboo in the society. He never hesitate to be with such people and never think about what society would say. We are proud of our Jesus and thankful for His teachings about the relations with the mankind, we Love Him for this.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Yes, jesus beleives that lowly people are valuable, most of them don`t have things to be called as their own possessions or reaches, only a good heart, kindness, and thier willingness to help, and if they give they give all...even it is the only thing they had...like the widow who gave all what she has out of poverty, just to please God...and Jesus loves these kind of people because they are easy to call to serve God, unlike rich people who cannot give all of their time serving God because they spending too much of thier time doing things to become more powerfull and famous...

Lowly People
Christ loves the lowly, those who need His healing and those who seek Him. For those who follow Him `lowly` must become the Way of Life` for in Truth Jesus came as our Servant King. For myself I too often lack the humility to be lowly so that I may help and serve others that they may see/know the Christ in me.

Now all the tax-gatherers and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him. And both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them." ( Luke 15:1-2)

Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ( Matthew 19:13-14)

He called the twelve and said to them, "If any one wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." And taking a child , He stood him in the midst of them; and taking him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one child like this in My name is receiving Me; and whoever receives Me is not receiving Me, but Him who sent Me." ( Mark 9:35-37)

And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the multitude were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. And calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, "Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on." ( Mark 12:41-44)

There came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink." For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. The Samaritan woman therefore said to Him, ‘How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink since I am a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) ( John 4:7-9)

And it came about when He went into the house of one of the leaders of the Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread, that they were watching Him closely…And he went on to say to the one who had invited Him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return, and repayment come to you. But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous." ( Luke :-1-:1)
