Jesus described his generation as Faithless and perverse. How would Jesus describe your generation?
i think jesus would describe my generation also in the same way, for mankind hasn`t really dropped its vicious nature, although God had finally sent his son, God did tell us what he is promising us, be it heaven or hell, god also showed us the way to join him in heaven, and God gave humans a free will in all these matters, but mankind still doesnt understand that in this world the only source of real happiness and contentment is knowing God and having a special relationship with him, in the case of the absence of such a spiritual existence, this world `s treasures are actually void and meaningless and perishable.

Jesus described his generation as Faithless and perverse. How would Jesus describe your generation?
Maybe with very similar words - embryo stemm cell research, abortions, children out of wedlock, euthanasia. That selfassured pride that brings so many to move away from the Catholic Church till they approach death - last minute getting back on track assuming though that we `know` `can control`. Taking too much pride and self assurance thanks to science developments for which we do not thank God and that give us the illusion of being allpowerful. Possibly he would be even more angered saddened at what he sees. Interesting that this Q is asked starting from the healing of a boy. A young innocent person. Children are our future. What are we instilling in them? are we planting Good or bad seeds?

This kind of generation is lack of faith and trust, they are ferforming to cast out demons without the presence of the holy spirit, Lord Jesus Christ teached and gaved the holy spirit to clean the mind, body and soul first of a healer, before ferforming such healing.

The disciples could not cast the evil spirits out because they do not have faith that they can do it in the Name of Jesus.

The Healing of a Boy With an Evil Spirit

It happened on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great multitude met him. Behold, a man from the crowd called out, saying, "Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child. Behold, a spirit takes him, he suddenly cries out, and it convulses him so that he foams, and it hardly departs from him, bruising him severely. I begged your disciples to cast it out, and they couldn't."
Jesus answered, "Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here."
While he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him violently. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father. They were all astonished at the majesty of God.
But while all were marveling at all the things which Jesus did, he said to his disciples, "Let these words sink into your ears, for the Son of Man will be delivered up into the hands of men." But they didn't understand this saying. It was concealed from them, that they should not perceive it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
