约翰所著的耶稣传记——犹太领袖的不信 差役回到祭司长和法利赛人那里。他们对差役说，你们为什么没有带他来呢？ (7:45) 差役回答说，从来没有像他这样说话的。 (7:46) 法利赛人说，你们也受了迷惑吗？ (7:47) 官长或是法利赛人，岂有信他的呢？ (7:48) 但这些不明白律法的百姓，是被咒诅的。 (7:49) 内中有尼哥底母，就是从前去见耶稣的，对他们说， (7:50) 不先听本人的口供，不知道他所作的事，难道我们的律法还定他的罪吗？ (7:51) 他们回答说，你也是出于加利利吗？你且去查考，就可知道，加利利没有出过先知。 (7:52) 约翰 7:45-52

Unbelief of the Jewish Leaders
The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, "Why didn't you bring him?" The officers answered, "No man ever spoke like this man!" The Pharisees therefore answered them, "You aren't also led astray, are you? Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees? But this multitude that doesn't know the law is accursed." Nicodemus (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them, "Does our law judge a man, unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?" They answered him, "Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee." John 7:45-52
